Join us this Saturday, November 15, for a demonstration of our ideas to activate vacant lots in Long Beach!
We will be pitching our proposal as part of Demo Day hosted by the City of Long Beach’s Co-Lab initiative, from 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM at The Pointe at Cal State Long Beach.
We’re debuting Lots in Progress, a future forward proposal and collaboration with Studio One Eleven and People’s Architecture Office (PAO) for the Vacant Lot Activation and Management Solutions Challenge.
This marks our first-ever collaboration, bringing together global design innovation and local community energy to create opportunity in Long Beach’s vacant spaces, finding potential where others might not see it.
Building on our ongoing placemaking, community engagement, and activation work, Lots in Progress explores how design can turn overlooked spaces into catalysts for connection, creativity, and transformation.
We’re honored to partner with The Creativity Lab at the Long Beach Public Library, Renaissance High School for the Arts, and St. Anthony High School, who are each contributing creativity, insight, and heart to this vision.
