Studio One Eleven Featured in the LA Times
“7 Best L.A. Architecture Projects of 2025”

We are excited to share that our project, Long Beach Airport, has been recognized by the Los Angeles Times as one of the “7 Best L.A. Architecture Projects of 2025.”

“Long Beach Airport feels more like a neighborhood than the typical impersonal complex,” writes Sam Lubell, and that sense of place has guided our work here since 2010.

The feature highlights Studio One Eleven’s long-term work at the airport, including the restoration of the original Streamline Moderne terminal, the revival of historic architectural details and mosaics, and the creation of people-centered public spaces that connect the airport to the culture and history of Long Beach.

We are honored to be recognized alongside such inspiring projects and teams. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project over the years and helped shape a place that reflects the character and community of Long Beach.

A great way to end the year!
