The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and Studio One Eleven are pleased to announce the second in a series of conversations on the creative economy titled, “The Making of a Design District.” This Workshop, led by Heather Barker, Professor of Design at CSULB will take place on October 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Studio One Eleven in Downtown Long Beach.

This interactive event will define what makes the Downtown Long Beach Design District unique and how it serves the creative community. Building on the first panel discussion, it will serve as a public forum for community members to shape the District and its role in the local creative economy.
